Verdict: "Furkot trip planner is not for the faint of heart...but it is well worth the effort."
Admittedly my first shot is a bit "entry level" as Route 132 loops right around the Gaspé. It would be pretty hard to get lost, but hey, everybody has to start somewhere, and we do have to find our way around Montreal first off! Oh, did I mention that I've been teaching myself French as well as Furkot?
Driven by "needs must" I've picked up more French in the past week than I did in 5-yrs of Grammar school studies...bien sûr!
Any how, thanks to Furkot, our daily mileages are realistic, coffee, lunch and supper stops are all "primo", Motels are well placed, well priced, and pre-booked. And we know where to fill up on high-test Gas before anybody ends up sucking fumes! Not to mention a bunch of "cultural experiences" because that would ruin our "bad-boy biker" image...but stick with us for this 7-day jaunt and enjoy learning a few fun facts about motorcycle touring in La Belle Province.
Furkot's results sure look great on paper, and on screen. It's almost time for the rubber to hit the road.
Tomorrow is bike packing day...and all I really need to take is...half the clothes, twice the money and... my Furkot fact-packed phone!
